I know next to nothing about her background. She was dropped off at the auction with no information, not even her name or breed. I am assuming she is a QH, but she could easily be a BS Paint, Appendix, or even an Appy without spots... though I highly doubt that one. I am hoping one day to figure out who she is and where she came from. I would bet she has papers as she's very pretty with nice stock horse conformation...and it looks like she has had babies before.
As far as I can tell, Penny mare has had little-to-no actual training aside from basic halter breaking and feet-handling skills. However, she is extremely smart and learns very quickly, so I'm looking forward to working with her more. I think she'll be really fun to train. Although I plan to primarily ride her English/Dressage, there will probably be some western in there too :)
I have some exciting plans for us over the fall/winter... so stay tuned!
